Near Field Communication technology (NFC) is used for wireless communication between short-range electronic devices - usually several millimetres to centimetres apart. NFC has a brilliant future ahead of it. It utilises mobile phones, makes life easier and speeds up many tasks.
With a compatible smartphone, all that is required is to get close to the NFC sticker, specifying a well-defined action. For example, in the car, navigation starts when home silent mode is activated, and WiFi access is activated. You set up each sticker and then just use it.
