USB (Universal Serial Bus) is the most widely used connector for connecting peripherals and accessories to a variety of devices; including computers, mobile phones, tablets and others. At present, the most commonly used generations of USB are 2.0, USB 3.0 and USB 3.1. The USB-C connector with a symmetrical shape is becoming more and more popular.

What is spyware?

Spyware is used to detect malicious software (malware) that hackers use to spy on users. They gain access to your personal data, banking data, and your online history. How can you get rid of spyware and how can you protect yourself against it?

Surface Connect

Surface Connect is an exclusive port that charges the latest Microsoft Surface. Surface combines a tablet and laptop and is primarily designed for high-demanding office and multimedia work. The extra-powerful tablet/pc runs on the latest Intel i5 and i7 processors and is available in the Pro and Laptop versions.

On-Site Guarantee

NBD (Next Business Day) on-site warranty is a premium guarantee for second business day service at your home. It does not have to be at the exact address of your residence, but it can also be a company's headquarters, or even an address on your business trip or vacation.

WiFi

Almost everything can connect to WiFi these days. It is a widely used wireless network that allows you to connect many devices and computers at the same time without having to deal with connecting cables. Its broad usage mainly stems from the fact that WiFi uses free bands. Just buy a receiver or transmitter, and you don't have to pay to use it.

Intel Iris Graphics

Intel Iris Graphics is newer and more powerful than Intel HD Graphics. You can find it in Intel Core i5 and i7 laptops. Iris Graphics can be considered a compromise between more high-demanding graphics cards and basic graphics from Intel HD Graphics.

Intel HD Graphics

Intel HD Graphics is an integrated graphics card built into Intel processors (since 2010). Graphics of this type are suitable for everyday use, like multimedia playback, Internet browsing and basic work with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Windows 10 S

Windows 10 S is a fully-fledged version of the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. It's designed with maximum security and long-lasting performance. You can install the operating system on any device. You'll get all the classic features of Windows 10, such as Cortana, Windows Ink, Windows Hello and the OneDrive cloud service. The main difference from the basic version of Windows 10 is that you can only download all applications from the official Windows Store.

Windows Hello

Windows Hello is a Windows 10 feature that can be found on almost every computer with a fingerprint reader, Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book. With this security feature, you can sign in to your device quickly without entering a password. Just place your finger on the fingerprint scanner or use the Face Recognition feature. You can also select a backup PIN in case the system is not working properly.

Intel Authenticate

According to statistics, stolen data is a common means of data leakage. That's what Intel engineers kept in mind when they created Intel Authenticate, which uses two or more security features to protect your device. It supports Intel Core vPro 7th and 6th generation processors, and the set up is very simple. You can choose from several security features to verify the user's identity:

RAM

RAM (Random-Access Memory) refers to a computer's operating memory. This is type of memory stores data currently being used. It allows you to read or write data to any memory location, which makes it extremely fast. However, all data collected is lost when the computer is turned off. Therefore, it serves as a temporary repository for computer work, laptops, and also mobile phones and tablets.

Trackpoint

The trackpoint is a button on the keyboard of a laptop that controls the cursor and it's located between the G, H and B keys. It allows you to control your computer without having to lift your fingers from the keyboard. On the down side, it's not as accurate as a touchpad or mouse.

Docking Connector

A docking connector is used to connect a laptop with a docking station. It includes ports for connecting a monitor, keyboard, mouse, external hard drive and other devices. It's a great solution if you are frequently transferring your laptop between home and the office.

eMMC

eMMC memory is a less complex alternative to SSD storage, but is inferior in many aspects. While eMMC storage is slower than SSDs, they are much more affordable.

Dedicated Graphics Card

A dedicated graphics card is located on the motherboard of a laptop in the form of a separate chip. Compared to an integrated graphics card, it's more powerful, so it's better suited for playing games and working in graphics heavy applications. However, dedicated graphics cards require more efficient cooling and reduce battery life. They are usually found in larger and heavier laptops.

Integrated Graphics Card

An integrated graphics card is embedded directly into the processor. While they do not achieve such high levels of performance as dedicated graphics cards, the battery of a laptop equipped with an integrated graphics card will last longer. Devices with this type of graphics cards are suitable for office work and multimedia entertainment, but they are not ideal for running graphics-intensive games and programs.

LTE Modem

An LTE modem lets you connect your laptop to mobile networks. You can be online on the go.

TPM

The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is an encryption processor (cryptoprocessor). Encryption keys that protect data are stored on it. Laptops equipped with a TPM provide high levels of protection for stored data.

Thunderbolt 3

This is a modern port that lets you quickly charge your laptop, transfer data and connect up to two 4K monitors. The Thunderbolt 3 is based on the USB-C, sharing the shape of the connector.

UHD (4K) Resolution

Ultra high definition, known as UHD or 4K resolution, offers a smooth image and minute details. Compared to Full HD (1920x1080), Ultra HD displays have 4x more pixels (3840x2160). Such a high resolution, however, negatively impacts the battery life of the laptop.
